Institutional decision infrastructure

Capital, infrastructure, and platforms ,
underwritten with discipline.

Patterns Private Capital underwrites, structures, and deploys capital across AI infrastructure, real estate, private credit, and emerging asset classes , as a principal in Europe and North America, and through regional JVs in the Middle East and Asia. Advisory mandates are accepted selectively in markets where we already hold positions.

How the firm works

Principal first.
Advisor by extension.

We deploy our own capital, and we underwrite selectively for institutions. The two postures share one analytical spine , which is the only reason the advisory exists.

  1. 01
    Posture

    Principals and advisors

We hold positions in AI data centre capacity, real estate, and structured vehicles across our four regional platforms. We also accept a limited number of advisory mandates each year, almost always in markets where we are already a principal. Advisory is the surface that connects us to the operators and institutions we end up partnering with, not a separate revenue line.

  2. 02
    Intelligence

Causara, the spine we run our book on

Causara is the proprietary decision software the firm built to underwrite its own positions: mapping causal drivers, attaching evidence to claims, pressure-testing assumptions, and monitoring whether a thesis still holds as conditions change. The advisory exists in part because the same instrument is useful to a small number of institutions on their own decisions, and because client work, run on the same platform, sharpens the principal book in return.

  3. 03
    Research

    PatternTheories, published research

PatternTheories is the firm's research and publishing arm. The work that underwrites our own positions becomes, when appropriate, published analysis on the macroeconomic, geopolitical, and technological patterns shaping capital. It is how we test ideas in public before they become positions.

A note on method

The reasoning layer beneath institutional decisions.

Institutions do not fail because they lack information. They fail when reasoning becomes fragmented, assumptions remain implicit, system dynamics are misunderstood, and decisions are not revisited as conditions change.

Convincing materials are easier to produce than ever. Patterns Private Capital focuses on the harder question: whether the evidence, assumptions, structure, and causal logic behind a thesis actually hold.
